To display three-dimensional effects in a static text cell

At run time,

  1. If your control contains more than one sheet, specify the sheet with which you want to work by setting the Sheet property.
  2. Set the Col, Col2, Row, and Row2 properties as appropriate.
  3. If you are selecting a block of cells, set the BlockMode property to True.
  4. Set the CellType property to 5 (Static Text).
  5. Provide a three-dimensional appearance by doing one of the following:
    • If you want the cell to display a raised three-dimensional appearance, set the TypeTextShadow property to True.
    • If you want the cell to display a lowered three-dimensional appearance, set the TypeTextShadowIn property to True.

Note: If you set both the TypeTextShadow and TypeTextShadowIn properties to True, the cell displays a raised shadow effect as specified by the TypeTextShadow property.

  6. To set the color of the shadow in the three-dimensional appearance, set the ShadowDark property.
  7. If you selected a block of cells, set the BlockMode property back to False.
