getFormatter Method

Gets the cell formatter.

value = instance.getFormatter(row, col, sheetArea);

function getFormatter( 
   row : number,
   col : number,
   sheetArea : SheetArea
) : Object;

Parameters

row: The row index.
col: The column index.
sheetArea: The sheet area. If this parameter is not provided, it defaults to viewport.

Return Value

Returns the cell formatter string or object for the specified cell.

Example

This example returns the format object for the active sheet.

activeSheet.setValue(0, 1, new Date(2011, 2, 9));
var style = activeSheet.getFormatter(0,1,GC.Spread.Sheets.SheetArea.viewport);
