GrapeCity.Win.MultiRow Namespace > MaskedTextBoxCell Class : AllowPromptAsInput Property |
<SRDescriptionAttribute("Indicates whether the prompt character is valid as input.")> <SRCategoryAttribute("Behavior")> <DefaultValueAttribute()> Public Property AllowPromptAsInput As Boolean
Dim instance As MaskedTextBoxCell Dim value As Boolean instance.AllowPromptAsInput = value value = instance.AllowPromptAsInput
[SRDescription("Indicates whether the prompt character is valid as input.")] [SRCategory("Behavior")] [DefaultValue()] public bool AllowPromptAsInput {get; set;}
Even if AllowPromptAsInput is true, the prompt character must be valid for the current location in the mask in order to be accepted. For example, if PromptChar is "*", and the current location in the mask requires the user to enter a digit, entering an asterisk (*) will fail.
The ResetOnPrompt property takes precedence over AllowPromptAsInput.
