A special Lookup tab in the Folder Designer window allows you to specify lookup value lists for fields. Lookup values will be used at run time to allow the end user to choose a value from a list of predefined values. To enable lookup for a field, check the Use lookup values check box. Then you can specify a list of values in the grid below. You also have an option of leaving this grid empty and specifying the lookup list dynamically, at run time, in the LookupValues event, see Lookup Value Lists for details.
For each lookup value, you can specify the Value and, optionally, ValueText. ValueText determines the string representation of the value in the user query, if you need a non-default string representation. The Value column is the actual value used in the generated SQL statement. See Lookup Value Lists for details.
