sorting Event

The sorting event handler is a function that is called before the sorting operation is started. This event is cancellable. The allowSorting option must be set to "true" for this event to raise.

e: The jQuery.Event object.
args: The data with this event.

Remarks

You can bind to the event either by type or by name. Bind to the event by name: $("#element").wijgrid({ sorting: function (e, args) { // some code here }}); Bind to the event by type: $("#element").bind("wijgridsorting", function (e, args) { // some code here });
