The Vector layer allows you to place various objects with geographic coordinates on the map. The wijmaps vector layer supports three vector types, Polyline, Polygon and Placemark.

Type	Description
Polyline	Connects geographic coordinates. You can also set its stroke color and width. A polyline does not have to be a closed shape.
Polygon	Connects geographic coordinates. You can also set its stroke and fill color. Polygon is a closed shape.
Placemark	Adds a label to a particular geographical point. The placemarks have scale-independent geometry on which coordinates are expressed in pixels with an optional label.
