Use the installation program to install Spread. You cannot copy the contents of the distribution files to your hard disk because the information is compressed. Program files must be decompressed and installed in the appropriate directories to run properly.
To run the install program, follow one of these procedures:

If you still receive an error message while running the installation program, exit Windows, restart it, and run the installation program again. If the installation program still returns an error message, contact Technical Support at (412) 681-4738 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Eastern time, Monday through Friday.
Note: If you previously purchased and installed a fully licensed version of Spread without the SoftwareSecure technology, we recommend that you do not install the trial version. If you install the trial version of Spread, the 30-day trial version will overwrite the licensed version. Should this occur, you must call our Sales department at (800) 858-2739 or (412) 681-4343 outside the U.S.A. to get a serial number to unlock the trial and give you a fully licensed version. |
