Summary

This function returns the cumulative natural log normal distribution of x, where LN(x) is normally distributed with the specified mean and standard deviation. Analyze data that has been logarithmically transformed with this function.

Syntax

LOGNORMDIST(x,mean,stdev)

Arguments

This function has these arguments:

Argument Description
x Value at which to evaluate the function
mean Value of mean of natural logarithm of x, LN(x)
stdev Value representing the standard deviation of LN(x)

Remarks

If p = LOGNORMDIST(x,...) then LOGINV(p,...) = x.

Data Types

Accepts numeric data for all arguments. Returns numeric data.

Examples

LOGNORMDIST(0.92,B8,G22)

LOGNORMDIST(42,2,1.2) gives the result 0.926199546
