ASINH

This function calculates the inverse hyperbolic sine of a number.

Syntax

ASINH(value)

Arguments

For the argument, you can specify any real number.

Remarks

This function is the inverse of the hyperbolic sine, so ASINH(SINH(n)) gives the result n.

Data Types

Accepts numeric data. Returns numeric data.

Examples

ASINH(E4)

ASINH(R4C5)

ASINH(-5.5) gives the result -2.40606

ASINH(100) gives the result 5.2983423656
