Gets or sets the default background color for cells in this column.

Property Value

Color object that contains the background color for cells in this column

Remarks

The setting for this property can be overridden if a named style is assigned to the cell using the StyleName property, and that named style sets the background color.

Specify the text color for the cell by setting the ForeColor property.

Example

This example creates a spreadsheet with 10 columns and 20 rows. A Column object is then created and assigned to the second column of the spreadsheet. The BackColor, ForeColor, Font and Width properties are set to various values and the text inserted into the column reflect the changes.
