BackColor Property (Row)
Example

FarPoint.Win.Spread Assembly > FarPoint.Win.Spread Namespace > Row Class : BackColor Property
Gets or sets the background color for cells in this row.
Syntax
'Declaration

Public Property BackColor As Color
'Usage

Dim instance As Row
Dim value As Color

instance.BackColor = value

value = instance.BackColor
public Color BackColor {get; set;}

Property Value

Color object containing the background color
Remarks

The setting for this property can be overridden if a named style is assigned to the cells in the row using the StyleName property, and that named style sets the background color.

When cells in a row are locked with the Lock and Protect properties, the value of the SheetView.LockBackColor property overrides the value of this property.

If you use this property to retrieve the background color for a range of cells that do not have the same background color, the background color of the active cell is returned.

This property does not change the background color of the drop-down list portion of a combo box cell. The background color of the drop-down list portion of a combo box cell is always white.

If you are working with button cells, use the CellType.ButtonCellType.ButtonColor property to specify the color of the face of the buttons. If you prefer, you can use alternating background colors for the rows in the spreadsheet by using the AlternatingRow.BackColor property for each alternating row.

Specify the text color for the cells in a column by setting the ForeColor property.

Example
This example specifies the background color for the row.
FarPoint.Win.Spread.Row r;
r = fpSpread1.ActiveSheet.Rows[0];
r.BackColor = Color.Yellow;
Dim r As FarPoint.Win.Spread.Row
r = FpSpread1.ActiveSheet.Rows(0)
r.BackColor = Color.Yellow
