GetExcelSheetNames(Stream) Method

Gets an array of sheet names from the specified Excel stream.

Parameters

stream: Stream that contains an Excel Compound Document File

Return Value

String array containing the names of the sheets in the Excel-compatible stream

Exceptions

Exception	Description
System.ArgumentNullException	No stream specified or specified stream is null
System.ArgumentException	No stream specified or specified stream is empty

Example

This example returns the second sheet name in the excel file.
