This function returns the natural logarithm of the specified number.

Syntax

LN(value)

Arguments

For the argument, specify a positive numeric value.

Remarks

This function is the inverse of EXP, so LN(EXP(x)) is x.

Accepts numeric data. Returns numeric data.

LN(R1C2)

LN(10) gives the result 2.3025850930

LN(exp(1)) gives the result 1
