Example
This example sets the number of columns in the spreadsheet to four, uses the Item property change the BackColor of several of the columns and returns the Default and Parent properties to text boxes.

FpSpread1.Columns[0].BackColor=Color.Yellow;
FpSpread1.Columns[1,2].BackColor=Color.YellowGreen;
TextBox1.Text=Convert.ToString(FpSpread1.Columns.Default);
