Spread for ASP.NET 10 Product Documentation
MoveToPrevCell

Moves the active cell to the previous cell.

Syntax

[JavaScript]

FpSpread1.MoveToPrevCell(isTabStop);

Parameters

isTabStop
Boolean, whether to move to the previous cell based on the TabStop property setting

Return Type

None

Remarks

This method moves the active cell left to the previous cell. If the cell is at the beginning of the row, it moves the active cell up to the last cell in the previous row. This will cause the onActiveCellChanging, onActiveCellChanged, and onSelectionChanged events to occur. This method does not cause a postback to occur.

If the TabStop property is false for a cell and isTabStop is false, the cell is not skipped when moving. If TabStop is false and isTabStop is true, then the cell is skipped when moving. Set the isTabStop parameter to true to use the TabStop property setting for the cell.

Example

This is a sample that contains the method. On the client side, the script that contains the method would look like this:

JavaScript
Copy Code
<script type="text/javascript">
   function moveCell() {
       FpSpread1.MoveToPrevCell(true);
   }
</script>
