This function returns the probability for the t-distribution.
T.DIST(x,deg,cumulative)
This function has these arguments:
| Argument | Description |
|---|---|
| x | Numberic value used to evaluate the distribution |
| deg | Number of degrees of freedom to characterize the distribution; if not an integer, the number is truncated |
| cumulative | A logical value that determines the form of the function. If cumulative is TRUE, the function returns the cumulative distribution function; if FALSE, it returns the probability density function |
The #VALUE! error value is returned if x or deg are nonnumeric.
Accepts numeric data for x and deg arguments. Returns numeric data.
T.DIST(A1,B45,TRUE)
T.DIST(0.245,2,TRUE)gives the result 1.4146507236438
