BESSELY

This function calculates the Bessel function of the second kind.

Syntax

BESSELY(value,order)

Arguments

This function has these arguments:

Argument Description
value Value at which to evaluate the function
order Number representing the order of the function; if it is not an integer, it is truncated

Remarks

If value or order is nonnumeric then a #Value! error is returned. If order is less than 0 then the #NUM! error is returned.

Data Types

Accepts numeric data for both arguments. Returns numeric data.

Examples

BESSELY(A4,D5)

BESSELY(R4C1,R5C4)

BESSELY(2.85,1) gives the result 0.2801918953
