The server-side components produce charts as JPEG or PNG images, or (for ActiveX-aware browsers) as an .OC2/.OC3 file to be passed to a client-side copy of ComponentOne Chart.
You can use the existing ComponentOne Chart control(s) as client-side ActiveX controls for ActiveX-aware browsers. This support provides the advantage of user interactivity, at the cost of requiring the ComponentOne Chart control to be installed (or downloaded) on the client side. This may be more practical as an Intranet solution, where download bandwidth is less of an issue.
