VSReport8 relies on VBScript to evaluate expressions in calculated fields and to handle report events (the difference between report events and control events is discussed below).
VBScript is a full-featured language, and you have access to all its methods and functions when writing VSReport8 expressions. This document does not cover the intrinsic features of the VBScript language, which is documented in many books and Web sites, as well as on the Microsoft Developer's Network (MSDN).
VSReport8 extends VBScript by exposing additional objects, variables and functions. These extensions are described below:
