VSView Reporting Edition includes two main controls: VSPrinter8 and VSReport8. VSPrinter8 is a stand-alone control that provides printing and print previewing services. You can use it on its own to create custom documents of any type. VSReport8 generates Access-style, data-based banded reports and renders them using VSPrinter8.
VSView Reporting Edition enables you to visualize the data in your applications in the form of rich, presentation-quality reports. You can preview, print, and export these reports on your computer or over the Web.
VSReport8 is an upgrade to VSReport 1.0. Both versions are largely based on the Microsoft Access reporting model. If you use Access, you will feel right at home with VSReport8.
