To change the value of a numeric property (that is, one whose data type is Integer, Long, Single, or Double), type the desired text into the edit control. You can also use the edit control's context menu to paste text from the Clipboard.
The edit control accepts all characters, even letters and punctuation marks. However, invalid values will be rejected when you attempt to commit the change, and an error message will be displayed. Note that you can enter hexadecimal values with the &H prefix. For example, typing &HFF specifies a value of 255.
