Tax Calculation
The tax calculation features that were provided in the previous version of TDBInput (5.0), that is, the TDBNumber control, are now available in the TDBFinancialX object. The TDBFinancialX object is fully backward-compatible, and gives you the ability to perform more powerful tax calculations than ever before. The object's features include calculating taxes (in decimal digits) that are based upon the current underlying value, by invoking the TaxCalc method. The object will also round the results by specifying the exact digit, either the integer or the decimal places. The tax calculation can be easily determined whether the underlying value represents the desired total after the tax is calculated thus yielding the pre-tax total, or whether it represents the pre-tax amount yielding an after tax total.
