Cell Editing Techniques > How Cell Editing Works > Color and wordwrap |
In edit mode, the cell color is determined by the EditForeColor and EditBackColor properties. The text being edited will wordwrap, regardless of the setting of the column's WrapText property. If the text is too big to fit into the cell, a built-in drop-down edit control will automatically appear. For more information, see Working with Text.
Floating Editor Differences: In edit mode, the text highlight disappears, and the cell color is the same as the normal cell color. The text being edited is wordwrapped only if the column's WrapText property is True. The built-in drop-down edit control is not available.
