You can often improve the readability of the display by alternating the background colors of adjacent rows. When you set the AlternatingRowStyle property to True, the grid displays odd-numbered rows (the first displayed row is 1) using the built-in style OddRow, and even-numbered rows using the built-in style EvenRow.
