While in query mode (QueryMode = True), a TData control is disconnected from the database. Its underlying data represent a query, which it stores in a memory array (an XArrayDB object), just as in memory array data mode. See Memory Array Mode for details. The current query data can be accessed via the Array property if needed. Exactly as in memory array mode, it is possible to populate the query data before it is displayed, in the OpenData event.
Only data fields are visible to the user in query mode; calculated and linked fields are hidden. You can further customize a field’s visibility with its QueryMode property, by making some fields appear only in query mode, or only in result mode.
