ModificationMode = 1 - Immediate and 2 - LeavingControl are supported only in Visual Basic. In other containers, TData behavior is always as in ModificationMode = 0 - None. See Field Modification Modes for detail.
This limitation does not mean that some application features cannot be implemented with True DataControl in non-VB containers. It only means that automatic detection of field modification takes place only in Visual Basic. In other containers, you have to use control events and similar mechanisms, exactly as you do with standard data sources, such as the Microsoft ADODC control.
