C1GanttView control provides a wide set of options for modifying the appearance of a task bar. By default a rectangular shaped bar represents each task. You can change the Shape, Pattern, Color, and Height of the task bar as required using Bar Shape tab in the Bar Styles Dialog Box.
The Bar Type can be any of the following:
- Auto Scheduled
- Manually Scheduled
- Progress Bar
- Summary Progress Bar
- Group Task
- Summary
- Project Summary
- Milestone
- Deadline
- Duration Only
- Duration Only (Milestone)
- Start Only
- Finish Only
- Inactive Task
- Inactive Milestone
- Inactive Summary
- Inactive Duration Only

You can also adjust the position of bar text using Bar Text tab. The tab allows you to arrange and place the text corresponding to its Task Elements at Left, Right, Top, Bottom, and Center of the task bar.
