The SpreadJS Designer is a stand-alone application that lets you design and add data to a spreadsheet, save your file, and then load it in your application or other resources. For example, you might design a spreadsheet, including cell types and formats, add data, and then save it to Spread format or to Excel format, to load into the SpreadJS widget in your application.
The following figure shows a user formatting cells in a sheet.
As shown in the illustration, SpreadJS Designer offers a WYSIWYG design environment, so you can see the cell types and their formats, as well as images, colors, and other design elements as you work. The designer can be a valuable tool for working with SpreadJS, as well as a stand-alone tool for experimenting with design ideas and data.
