value Method

Gets or sets the unformatted value of the cell.

returnValue = instance.value(value);

function value( 
   value : Object

Parameters

value: The cell value.

Return Value

If no value is set, returns the cell value; otherwise, returns the cell.

Example

This example returns information about the specified cell.

Javascript

activeSheet.getCell(-1, 3).visible(false);
activeSheet.getCell(0,3).value("Test");
activeSheet.getCell(-1, 1).width(100);

This example returns the value in the specified cell in the active sheet.

Javascript

activeSheet.getCell(1,1).value(10);

Remarks

The default value is null.
