This function returns the cosecant of the specified angle.

Syntax

CSC(angle)

Arguments

This function can take any real number as an argument. The angle argument is the angle in radians for which you want the cosecant.

Remarks

If the angle is in degrees, multiply it by PI/180 to convert it to radians.

Data Types

Accepts numeric data. Returns numeric data.

Examples

CSC(40) gives the result 1.555

CSC(15) gives the result 3.863
