Gets or sets the placeholder character.

Property Value

Character to use as a mask character
Remarks

The displayed mask character is a placeholder that indicates to the user where to enter characters in the control. When the control receives the focus, all unfilled positions are replaced by this displayed mask character.

If you use special characters you want converted to characters, use Convert.ToChar"".

Example
This example specifies the mask to use for the mask cell.
FarPoint.Win.Spread.CellType.MaskCellType maskcell = new FarPoint.Win.Spread.CellType.MaskCellType();
maskcell.Mask = "[ ULLLLLLL : ULLLLLLL ]";
maskcell.MaskChar = Convert.ToChar("X");
