onEditStart

Occurs when the user begins to edit a cell.

Syntax

Arguments

event.cell
Cell
event.row
Row index
event.col
Column index
event.cancel
Whether to cancel editing
event.spread
Spread that raises the event

Return Type

None

Remarks

This event is triggered when cell editing is started. To cancel the editing, you can set the argument event.cancel to true.

Example

This is a sample that contains the event. On the client side, the script that contains the event would look like this:
