Spread for ASP.NET 9.0 Product Documentation > Client-Side Scripting Reference > Scripting Members > Methods > GetSheetRowIndex |
Gets the SheetView row index for the specified row of the displayed Spread.
[JavaScript]
var ret = GetSheetRowIndex(row);
Integer, index of the row in the sheet (SheetView object on the server)
This method gets the row index of the SheetView object on the server for the specified row of the Spread displayed on the client.
If there are no child sheets, the client-side sheet index is the same as the client-side row index in the viewport table. In this case, the GetSheetRowIndex and GetRowKeyFromRow methods will return the same result for a specified row index. If there are child sheets, the client side sheet index is different from the client side row index in the viewport table. A child sheet is a row in a table.
This is a sample that contains the method. On the client side, the script that contains the method would look like this:

<script type="text/javascript"> function getRowIx() { var srindx = FpSpread1.GetSheetRowIndex(3); alert("Row index on server is " + srindx); } </script> |
