OnDropDownOpening Method (GcTextBoxEditingControl)

A DropDownOpeningEventArgs instance that contains the event data.
Raises the DropDownOpening event.
Syntax
'Declaration

Protected Overrides Sub OnDropDownOpening( _
   ByVal e As DropDownOpeningEventArgs _
)
'Usage

Dim instance As GcTextBoxEditingControl
Dim e As DropDownOpeningEventArgs

instance.OnDropDownOpening(e)
protected override void OnDropDownOpening(
   DropDownOpeningEventArgs e
)

Parameters

e
A DropDownOpeningEventArgs instance that contains the event data.
Remarks
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. The OnDropDownOpening method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to Inheritors: When overriding OnDropDownOpening in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnDropDownOpening method so that registered delegates receive the event.
Requirements

Target Platforms: Windows 2000 Professional (SP4), Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2003 Server (SP1), Windows 2008, Windows XP (SP2), Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8
