SetText Method

Row index of the cell
Column index of the cell
Text for the cell
Sets the formatted text in the cell using the IFormatter object for the cell.
Syntax

Parameters

row
Row index of the cell
column
Column index of the cell
value
Text for the cell
Remarks

Sets the formatted value of the cell.

Besides using this method, you can get or set the data in a cell using various properties of the sheet (SheetView object) or properties of the cell (Cell object). For more information, see Handling Data Using Sheet Methods and Handling Data Using Cell Properties.

Remember that the data may be displayed differently in a cell depending on the cell type. For more information, see Understanding Cell Type Effects on Displaying Data.

This example illustrates the use of this member by setting the text for the specified cell.
FarPoint.Web.Spread.SheetView sv;
sv = FpSpread1.ActiveSheetView;
sv.SetText(1, 1, "Finance");
