This function converts the specified number from degrees to radians.

Syntax

RADIANS(value)

Arguments

This function takes any real number angle value as the argument.

Remarks

Converts angle in degrees to angle in radians.

Data Types

Accepts numeric data for all arguments. Returns numeric data.

Examples

RADIANS(B3)

RADIANS(R1C2)

RADIANS(45) gives the result 0.7853981634 (which is p/4)
