This example sets up a map that uses the X key to extend the selection to the first item.

im = fpSpread1.GetInputMap(FarPoint.Win.Spread.InputMapMode.WhenAncestorOfFocused);
im.Put(new FarPoint.Win.Spread.Keystroke(Keys.X, Keys.None), FarPoint.Win.Spread.SpreadActions.ExtendToFirstItem);

Remarks

This action extends the selection to the top and leftmost item in a multiple-item selection.
