Print Properties


In the Spread Designer, if you want to set print properties, from the Sheet menu, choose Print Properties, or press the Print Properties button ( ) on the Sheet toolbar. The Print Properties dialog box appears, as shown in the following figure.


You can customize how the sheet is printed using the options provided in the Print Properties dialog box.

Description

Range Select how much of the sheet to print. You can specify either a block of cells or a range of pages as a print range.
Orientation Select an option button to specify the page orientation used to print the view.
Margins Specify the margins for the printed view. Be sure so set the Units. Provide the size of the margins in the Left, Right, Top, and Bottom boxes.
Units Select an option button to specify the unit type used for calculating the margins.
Page Order Select an option button to specify the order in which pages are printed.
Print Specify the scope of the printing by setting or clearing the following items. You can specify that only the columns and rows that contain data are printed. (To set a specific block of cells or range of pages to print, us the Range settings.) If you do not want to print the column header row, clear the Column Headers check box. If you do not want to print the row header column, clear the Row Headers check box. If you do not want to print the grid lines, clear the Grid check box. If you do not want to print the border, clear the Border check box. If you do not want to print the shadow effect within the headers, clear the Shadows check box. Note that if you clear the Column Headers and Row Headers check boxes, the Shadows setting does not have an effect. Note that when printing a view that is using virtual mode, do not specify to print only the cells with data.If you want to print the view's colors as they appear on the screen, select the Color check box.
Job Setup Specify job settings for the print job.
Scaling Specify in the printing is sized to fit the page or otherwise scaled.
First Page Number Specify how the printed pages are numbered by typing the number of the first page.
