Spread Designer

To hide a column or row

In the Spread Designer,

If you want to hide a column,
1. Move the focus to the column you want to hide by selecting the column header or a cell within the column.
2. From the Sheet menu, choose Columns and Rows or press the Columns and Rows button ( ) on the Sheet toolbar.
3. On the Columns tab in the Column and Row Settings dialog box,
  1. Select the Columns Hidden check box.
  2. Choose the OK or Apply button.
If you want to hide a row,
1. Move the focus to the row you want to hide by selecting the row header or a cell within the row.
2. From the Sheet menu, choose Columns and Rows or press the Columns and Rows button ( ) on the Sheet toolbar.
3. On the Row tab in the Column and Row Settings dialog box,
  1. Select the Row Hidden check box.
  2. Choose the OK or Apply button.

Note: In design mode, the sheet displays in a format that assists you in designing the sheet. Even if you hide columns and rows, in design mode the sheet always displays the columns and rows. If you display the sheet in run-time mode and you have hidden the columns or rows, the sheet does not display the columns or rows.
