Spread Designer

To format a percent cell

In the Spread Designer,

1. Select a cell or block of cells.
2. Choose the cell type using one of the following methods:
   • Display the pop-up menu by right-clicking the cell or block of cells and then choose Percent.
   • From the Cell menu, choose Cell Type, Percent.
   • Choose the Percent button ( ) on the cell type toolbar.
   The Cell Type dialog box appears.
3. In the Cell Type dialog box, on the Settings tab,
   1. If you want to specify a custom decimal symbol, type the symbol in the Decimal Symbol box.
   2. If you want to specify whether a leading zero is displayed for values between 1.0 and –1.0, choose an item from the Leading Zero drop-down list box.
   3. If you want to specify a different format for negative values, choose an item from the Negative Style drop-down list box.
4. Choose the OK or Apply button.
