The temporary files created as end-users interact with ComponentOne WebChart are generated in a temporary directory. To prevent this directory from filling up, ComponentOne WebChart provides a small utility component that automatically deletes each temporary file a set time after the last reference to it is released.
The provided script files 2DGENTAG.INC and 3DGENTAG.INC include a routine to manage the temporary file component. Also, the location of the temporary directory can be manually specified.
