Before any words can be checked, the MainThesFile property must be set to contain the complete path and filename of the main thesaurus file. This may be done in design time or at run time. If a path and filename are not specified, the control will search for the default main thesaurus filename (vsth_ae.the) in the current directory, the Windows directory, the Windows System directory, any directories in the MS-DOS Path environment variable, or any mapped network directories.
