The TDBCalendar control's StyleSet object sets the background color, 3D effects (inset/raised), text alignment (horizontal/vertical) settings, and so on. If a drawing style is registered with a key, it can be located much quicker later. Also, drawing style settings can be inherited to speed up the settings.
