How to Use DSTStyles

The DSTStyle object is made up with the Daylight Savings Time (DST) styles for an TDBTZoneX object, comprising the following properties:

 

EndDay

Specifies the ending day for the DST.

EndMonth

Specifies the ending month for the DST.

EndTime

Specifies the ending time for the DST in minutes, after midnight local time.

EndWeekday

Specifies the ending day of the week for the DST.

EndWhichWeek

Specifies the ending week of the month for the DST.

Key:objects

Returns a unique key for the object.

Name

Specifies a simple description for the object.

Parent

Returns the object from which a style inherits.

StartDay

Specifies the starting day for the DST.

StartMonth

Specifies the starting time for the DST in minutes, after midnight local time.

StartTime

Specifies the starting time for the DST in minutes, after midnight local time.

StartWeekday

Specifies the starting day of the week for the DST.

StartWhichWeek

Specifies the starting week of the month for the DST.

TimeOffset

Specifies the difference between DST and the Standard Time in minutes.

Once you have defined a style, you can apply it to the WorldTimeCalc and the WorldTimeDiff methods. If you subsequently change a particular setting of a style, such as its starting month, then any execution of the methods for calculating will automatically be reflected with the new settings.
