General Property Page (TDBNumLite)

The TDBNumLite control's General property page is used to set general properties such as the decimal point, numeric minimum and maximum ranges, entry mode, and so on.

The following list describes each property that can be set in the General property page:

 

MinusSign

Sets the location of the minus sign.

ClearAction

Sets how data should be cleared.

EditMode

Sets the editing mode for the control.

MousePointer:TDBNumber

Sets the type of mouse pointer to be displayed.

MoveOnLRKey

Sets whether the focus automatically moves to the next or previous control when the user moves the cursor using the left and the right arrow keys.

IntegerPlaces

Sets the number of integer places allowed for inputting in the control.

DecimalPlaces

Sets/returns the number of decimal places allowed for inputting in the control.

DecimalPoint

Sets/returns the character to use as a decimal point.

HighlightText

Sets/returns whether to highlight the text in the control.

Read-Only Mode

Click to apply read-only mode (see ReadOnly).

Beep On Error

Click to enable beeps on error (see ErrorBeep).

Show Popup Menu

Click to enable pop up menu display (see ShowContextMenu).
