ChildGrid Property

This property associates the name of a TDBGrid control that can be used to represent hierarchical data at run time.

Syntax

object.ChildGrid = string

Remarks

Read/Write at run time and design time.

When the user clicks the leftmost columns expand icon ("+") the associated TDBGrid control is displayed below the current cell.

Use the ChildGrid property and a TDBGrid control to implement a fully editable master/detail presentation.
