ComponentOne Query 8.0
Adding ComponentOne Query 8.0 Control to a Visual Basic Project

After you have opened a new or existing project in Visual Basic 6.0, you can add ComponentOne Query 8.0 to the Visual Basic Toolbox by following these instructions:

  1. Open the Visual Studio IDE (Microsoft Development Environment). Make sure the Toolbox is visible (select Toolbox in the View menu, if necessary), and right-click the Toolbox to open its context menu.

If you want the Query 8.0 component to appear on its own tab in the Toolbox, select Add Tab from the context menu and type in the tab name, Query, for example. Select the tab where you want the component to appear.

  2. Right-click that tab and select Components from the context menu. The Components dialog box appears.

  3. From the Components dialog box, select ComponentOne Query Control 8.0. The two ComponentOne Query 8.0 icons will be added to the Visual Basic Toolbox, one for the C1Query control, and one for the C1QueryFrame control.
