jQuery Mobile provides a lightweight and flexible theming system that allows you to fully customize the appearance of your application. The MVC Mobile Application uses the default jQuery Mobile theme. You can see the default theme in the following image:
This new, open-ended theming system is based on color swatches and takes advantage of CSS3 properties. These swatches contain the colors for the toolbars, buttons, and content areas. Your jQuery Mobile theme framework can support up to 26 swatches, allowing you almost endless opportunities to mix and match swatches.There are five default theme swatches, labeled a, b, c, d, and e.
