Customizing Chart Elements > Special Bar Chart Properties > Bar Shading Colors |
When a bar chart is shaded but not zoned, bars drawn above the Z-origin use the surface top color and bars drawn below the Z-origin use the surface bottom color. You can arbitrarily set the color of one bar or entire rows and columns of bars. To define colors that appear in the legend, you need to create a 4D chart; see Creating 4D Charts for more information.
Use the DataColor properties to define custom bar colors. Each color is defined by a row index, a column index, and the color to use. To set a color for an entire row, specify 0 as the column index. To set a color for an entire column, specify 0 as the row index.
DataColor properties are located on the ChartGroup Page Bar Tab on the Property Pages.
