A smart tag represents a short-cut tasks menu that provides the most commonly used properties in each component or command.

To access the C1ListView Tasks menu, click on the Smart Tag arrow in the upper right corner of the C1ListView control. This will open the C1ListView Tasks menu.

The C1ListView Tasks menu operates as follows:

• Choose Data Source

  Clicking the drop-down arrow in the Choose Data Source box opens a list of available data sources and allows you to add a new data source.

  

  To add a new data source to the project, click < New data source> to open the Data Source Configuration Wizard.

• Edit ListView

  Clicking the Edit ListView link will open the Designer Form. The Designer Form allows you to add C1ListViewItems and edit the control's properties.

• Edit ListView Databindings

  Clicking Edit ListView Databindings opens the Bindings Collection Editor. This is where you can remove bindings and edit binding properties.

• Theme

  Although the C1ListView Tasks Menu contains a Theme dropdown, these are not the themes that are applied to the application. The themes are applied through swatches; for more information, please see Appearance.  

• Create new theme

  The Create new theme option opens the ThemeRoller for Visual Studio. To find more information on using ThemeRoller in your application, see ThemeRoller for Visual Studio

• Use CDN

  Selecting the Use CDN check box will indicate that the control extender must load client resources from a content delivery network. By default this box is not checked.

• CDN Path

  Indicates the path for the content delivery network. Enter a URL here to change the path.

• Use BootStrap

  Indicates whether or not to use BootStrap integration. To find more information on using Bootstrap theming in your application, see Bootstrap Theming.

• Mobile Mode

  This option indicates that the ASP.NET Web Forms control is in Mobile Mode. This option must be checked in order to use the C1AppView or C1ListView controls.

• ThemeSwatch

  The ThemeSwatch option indicates the global ThemeSwatch applied to the control.

• About

  Clicking the About item displays a dialog box, which is helpful in finding the version number of ASP.NET Web Forms Edition and online resources.

• Add Extender

  Clicking the Add Extender item opens the Extender Wizard, allowing you to add an extender to the C1ListView control.
